February 11, 2026

Knoll has brought a fresh perspective to one of its most renowned, sculptural yet simple designs by Eero Saarinen, the Saarinen Pedestal Collection, with three recently launched finishes: Topo Noir Veneer, Emperador Light Marble, and Modern Clay.
Originally designed in 1957, this collection of dining, side, coffee, and lounge tables reflects Eero Saarinen’s purist approach to architecture and design. His pedestal base encourages visual and physical freedom in any interior, allowing the table to interact seamlessly with its surroundings.

“It’s vital to keep Knoll’s historic collections alive, charged with contemporary energy, capturing the interests and codes of our time.” - Jonathan Olivares, Creative Director, Knoll
Topo Noir Veneer is made of reconstituted wood. This quality veneer is distinguished by a highly figured grain pattern with mesmerizing movement that captures the richness of natural wood. Produced with a sustainability mindset, it uses wood remnants, creating a striking yet responsible material choice.
Emperador Light Marble is a warm, neutral-toned marble. Its delicate veining and soft tonality pair beautifully with oak and other woods, allowing designers to create cohesive, sleek experiences. Featuring only the highest quality marble, each tabletop is chosen to have favorable working qualities and fewest geological flaws.
Modern Clay is a soft-touch laminate made from paper and thermosetting resins. Its self-edge construction gives it the appearance of a solid material, while its ultra-matte, anti-fingerprint finish makes it both modern and durable, perfect for high-use environments.
